Skyway Plaza is a major gateway to the City however, it has become tired and hasn't modernized over the years. Since it is privately owned the challenge will be engaging the owner to embrace and consider new forms of development. The Plaza is home to important businesses, especially the grocery store serving neighborhood residents, but a lot of space in underutilized. a change in allowable building density and reduced parking requirements may incentivize infill of a potion of the vast underutilized parking lot.

    We would LOVE to see the Skyway plaza developed into a multi-use neighborhood. There's so much opportunity there!
