I think this plan is absolutely gorgeous. I love the fishing pier, the rain garden, and the gazebo. The playground plan looks amazing but I would like to see 1-2 baby/adult swings - it is one swing that has a baby seat attached to a frame so a parent and child can face each other and swing together. A handicap swing? I would also like to see park benches, waste receptacles, dog waste bags, and perhaps a few splash pad fountains like in Betty Little Park? I am very happy to see a bathroom…perhaps piping could be plumbed from there for a season splash pad. The downtown splash pad has REALLY brought families in - it would nice to see the often forgotten South end have something to like this. The plans are truly beautiful!

Fox Hill (S Platt St) is a huge neighborhood aset that also draws people from all over the city in the winter. The plans are magnificent and even if all can't be achieved in the first go-around, it serves as a template for future development.
I would suggest that we first repair or replace the broken facilities like the bathroom building and the playground equipment before proceeding to new projects. This will keep the parks usable for years to come.
